How can I trust that you will make my images amazing?
At Vital Edit, all of our editors have a keen and trained eye for color management.
We also work one on one with you to discuss how to achieve your personal editing
style.
What is your turn around time?
For portraits our turnaround time is 3 business days. For weddings our turn around
time is 7 business days from when we receive the images. Please keep in mind turnaround
times can vary depending on the season and our workload. Feel free to email with any questions
about our current turnaround times during the busy season.
If for whatever reason you need the images back sooner than 7 days please
contact us and we will do everything in our power to have your order back
to you sooner. We also offer 1 Day and 2 Day rush services at an additional charge and availability.
What software do you use to edit my images?
We use the best software for image color correction for professional photographers.
We use the entire Adobe suite including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge. With
Adobe Lightroom we provide Lighroom Catalogs or XMPs.
Do you offer a free trial?

What is the minimum order?
We have No minimum or maximum amounts of images that you may order! A favorite of our portrait photographers!
What are XMPs and what do I do with them?
Adobe's Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) is a labeling technology that allows
you to embed data about a file, known as metadata, into the file itself. With XMP,
desktop applications and back-end publishing systems gain a common method for capturing,
sharing, and leveraging this valuable metadata, opening the door for more efficient
job processing, workflow automation, and rights management, among many other possibilities.
With XMP, Adobe has taken the “heavy lifting” out of metadata integration, offering
content creators an easy way to embed meaningful information about their projects
and providing industry partners with standards-based building blocks to develop
optimized workflow solutions.
When we send you your XMPs, you want to copy and paste them into the folder where
your images are. In Lightroom or in Bridge, you will be able to see your images
change!
Note: JPG images do not come with XMPs because the data is not embedded in the file
when the image is taken.
How do I order?
Just follow the simple instructions provided for you during your ordering process. Enter an order and upload your images, simple as that!

How do I send my images to you?
We recommend uploading your files directly to us!
Or you can send your images to us on a hard drive, thumb drive, DVD, etc. Just print
out your order form and include that with your shipment. We also have Free Shipping for our domestic members :D
Do you have FTP?
You can upload your files directly through our website! We do have an FTP option as well. :)
You can choose to have your images processed to JPG (in sRGB) files and sent back
to you on a DVD, your hard drive, thumb drive, download, or we could e-mail you
the XMP files. We include your XMP files with every order.
How do I know when my images are ready?
We provide you with live updates on the status of your order!
You'll receive a notification letting you know your files are ready to download
or your tracking number for shipping.
